The Forehead

First week back is now in the books and we now know two things:

1) I'm making over $1/game pre-RB
2) It's bound to come crashing down

Pretty sure all of the wrinkles in my forehead are from red line worries.  Once again, I see the line a bit lower than I'd like over a small sample and it concerns me.  One day in particular stood out, where I ran $1.2k above EV. 

 















You think I'd learn to not mind these kind of stretches, but in the back of my head I'll always question myself until it turns around.  While that might be bad for my mental health, it's definitely good for my game as it forces me to re-think spots and ultimately, improve.  But hey, who cares, only thing that matters is I'm running sick hot, so for the time being I'll wipe my tears with money that shouldn't be mine. 

It's a good thing I'm off to a solid start, as a week ago I set myself a lofty goal -- Make $30k in the next 90 days.  The impetus for such a challenge, other than self-motivation, is that I plan on leaving Thailand at the end of July.  So over the next three months, I'd like to get some quality grinding done.
One problem I've dealt with ever since moving to Thailand is the lack of traffic during non-peak hours.  It wouldn't be a huge deal if I liked playing during the busiest period of the day, but for me that's 10 PM - 4 AM and that's just not my style.  I certainly can do it evidenced by the fact I've done that schedule in the past, but I'm so much happier waking up in the mornings and going to bed at night.  For the longest time, I sacrificed profits so I could have somewhat of a normal schedule but now I don't think I have to. 

What's my solution?  Load everything.  Do I have an edge in this game?  If so, I might as well play it.  So far I've mixed 180s, MTTs, and nearly in all variants of STTs.  Plus I had FullTilt in the background so I could add games from their site (Speaking of low traffic, sheeeeeeesh it's bad over there).  Most notably, I added back $7 Hypers, a game I previously stopped playing because I made more in higher stakes.  While that's still true, it's silly of me to not play them if I can handle more tables at any given time.  It's like turning down free money.
