The Calculations

It's 3 AM in Thailand and this is the latest I've stayed up since coming back in the country.  But I have a good reason -- I didn't want to go to sleep until PokerStars "calculated" the BOP scores for this past week because as of early afternoon, I was in third place and in line to win $400.

Okay, so maybe that's not a good reason.  I could easily go to bed and check when I woke up in the morning.  But what's the fun in that?  Staying up late, watching baseball, and grinding games while sweating the leaderboard?  Now that's fun.

Actually, the games I planned on playing weren't very good.  I still played a few though, unsuccessfully attempting to game select.  But because I only had half the amount of my normal tables up, I decided to add a MTT.  A little $5 Rush Rebuy on FullTilt caught my eye and I immediately started chipping up.  There are definitely some different strategies in Rush MTTs compared to regular games, enough to warrant a video replay for PokerVT which I'll make sometime tomorrow.

Made the final table in fourth place and I'm happy to report that despite a few setbacks at the final table, I was able to take it down.  Weeeeee!

Unfortunately Stars has yet to post the updated scores so, well, I'm in the same predicament I was in earlier.  Except now I'm $1,200 richer.
