I offer two types of coaching:
1) Live Sweat
2) Hand History Review
Live Sweat:
You play while I watch (over Mikogo/Teamviewer) and take extensive notes about each hand. I require my clients to “think out loud” using a microphone and a program that allows for voice communication (Skype/AIM). Understanding your thought process is a vital part of the training, as I've found that players improve significantly more when instead of learning simply what play is correct, clients understand why . My microphone is turned on during review period immediately following the games, but off during play so you aren't distracted and/or influenced by me. After the games have finished, we'll start by going over the hands that occurred during your set, and branch off of those to delve deeper into topics that are more pertinent to your individual game (early stages, endgame, bubble play, ICM, aggression levels, multi-tabling, etc).
Hand History Review:
You send me ten complete tournament hand histories of yours and we go over each hand in a replayer, again connecting via software which allows you to see my screen. I find hearing someone explain their reasoning 'on the fly' in the live sweat helps indicate potential trouble spots and gives me a greater understanding to where you are as a player. For those reasons, I recommend the hand history review only after an initial live sweat.
Note: Hand history reviews can also be done via text/email.
My rate is $90/hr or $130/1.5hrs.
Please let me know if you're interested or have any questions.
