Today marked the conclusion of the first week and I'm relatively happy with the results.
Games: 2101
Profit: $3,258 (+$60 BOP bonus)
VPPs: 13,856.23

Solid, right? Well, to be honest, I'm a bit hesitant to pat myself on the back because I'm running at 17% in $30s, a number that is highly unlikely to be sustainable. Meanwhile, I'm at 6% in $15s (1000 games) and 3% in $7s (600 games). What does it mean? Probably nothing. The sample sizes are LOLsmall and I expect them to settle around 10-12%.
Ignoring the ROI/profit stuff, I'm vieeeeerrrrrry siiiiiiiiiatesfied. I averaged 300 games a day and nearly 2,000 VPPs, which sets me ahead of the required pace. Plus my first day was a half-day because I didn't get back into Vancouver until 4 PM. If I keep this up, I could theoretically finish in 30 days. Maybe I'll scale back on the hours/games as I get closer to 200k VPPs, not sure yet.
I had planned on busting my ass in November and coasting throughout December, but so far the increased workload hasn't been much of a hindrance on my quality of life. I've still been able to sleep for as long as I want, get to the gym, and go out. Dinners are a bit more rushed and I'm eating while hunched over my keyboard, but that's not a big deal to me. I don't feel cooped up or burnt out, but that's probably due to running good and the "newness" of this challenge. However, the last two days weren't great; I barely booked a winning day on Sunday and had to climb out of a $700 hole earlier today. Both days ended in the black, but that's a sweat shop hourly.
One final casualty I feel like mentioning -- my schedule. I had some normalcy in the beginning, waking up between 10 and noon, grinding for most of the day, and then going to bed around 2-3 AM. But as the week has worn on, I've been waking up later and later. And I'm headed to the gym now, so I won't be going to bed for another two hours. At least. Who knows, maybe I'll load another set after that.
