The Source Code

It's never fun to completely bomb the last set of the day. Just completely tanked it. It's a really empty feeling to grind all day and lose a huge chunk of your profit at the end.

I was playing while watching 'The Source Code,' a film where the protagonist is able to go back in time to try and prevent a terrorist attack from taking place. After getting coolered over and over again and losing countless flips, I too wished I could go back in time. I wouldn't shove here, wouldn't call there, 3-bet the guy who showed a bluff...

Alas, I do not have that option. Nope, instead I had to stay on that train and get blown up over and over again.

Sorry, I just realized how horrible of an analogy that is -- I compared losing a few hundred dollars at the poker table to suffering multiple violent deaths. Got a bit carried away with the hyperbole, I guess.

@Jonny: You're allowed to stay six months after entering Canada and the clock resets once you leave the country. No visa/work permit required if you're going to play poker.

@Limels: Thanks, but I color coded you weeks ago! :)
