The Request

Ask and ye shall receive.

Yesterday marked my first losing day of the challenge. I was up, down, even, back up, and back down. Not fun. But I wrote here that I wanted to know if I'd be able to maintain my volume/pace if I had a downswing and I guess I'm about to find out.

Here's a look at my last three days, which haven't been too kind.

And it's not like I've been mixing in more $30s as my average stake is actually lower than the previous week. Upon looking at my $7/$15 stats, I'm currently mired in 1k game break-even stretch. That might be weeks or months worth of volume for others, but I've managed to do it in the last three days. Could it be variance? Possible. Likely, even. But I don't have a sample size large enough to definitively say that so I'm probably going to err on the side of caution and get a few hand histories analyzed by my friend and old roommate, Ben (N0Bigdeal). He crushes the 18s with a considerably different style than most other regs, and by different I mean 'better.' Plus he's cheaper than the other guys, as he accepts payment in sushi rolls and LOLcat pictures.

You pros have it easy.Imagine just playing at weekends and having to go through months and month of that.

Just joking.

It's actually quite heartening to see that even a top pro goes through long nasty streaks.Looking forward to your next upwards graph too though :-)
